THE ALMANAC

In this section, talk about the Almanac as a project beyond a single year calendar. It aims to understand the rythms and flows of a particular pattern based on nature… as the years pass, the analytics and forecasting becomes more accurate, but, also, new wild patterns emerge… Something like this is what we aim to do for ‘creative’ professionals who are trying to activate their communities.

Something about how we are ultimately, trying to help people find their way to ‘flow’ through and tap into the potential surrounding the current context … this is where we think innovation is best cultivated.

Just like any almanac, our understanding of the landscape will get richer as time goes on.

{Ultimately, whatever we write here should go side-by-side with a video that summarizes the sentiments of the whole page. We should both film it so that we can splice it together. Both of us on it also dispatches the traditional ‘founder statement/meet the founder’ }

THE EVENTS

In this sectio, we want to mention  a few things:

We are trying to keep to about 200 total events. Over the next year or two, we will develop a stronger POV of the exact number, but, honestly, if we have 7 categories, 25-40 events per category sounds about right.

We appreciate the events on this lits, that is why they are on it. We do have certain categories that you will never see appear on our lists, but, this list is not for comparison or ranking. This list is to help business people define the most visible and influential, elite  networking and product marketing opportunities that occur on a predictable basis.

These events can be planned against and counted on to foster an entire ecosystem or environment of opportunity.

– That we thought about the events from a US Wholesale Market perspective. Ultimately, there is a global list because creative tastes today know no borders… but, not everything pertains to US interests. This means that this POV is most suited to people looking to move or interact with the American Market.

THe CALENDAR

The big deal here is that every other website will make you download the single event data one by one (which may change) And/or they set the data in an app that you have to monitor for notifications… which no one needs or wants. Our calendars are managed by us and shared directly to your inbox, so you can see the dates… IN CONTEXT of what is going on in YOUR life… When event data changes, we update it and the events move on our calendar.

Realistically, after years of hanging around entrepreneurial circles (in a multitude of industries), we both started to realize that there still is such a thing as  a business ‘circuit’. There aren’t many magazines, or , anyone, really providing an analysis of the many ways to maximize opportunity based on understanding the business landscape and where the operators are (of any given field) at any given moment.

So, creating a calendar was the understanding that we could help our community practically, but, the newsletter acknowledges that next need to have a high-level cross-industry META POV to help people spark new paths based on little but available opportunity alone.  (maybe we get to bring back the original flower image here!

Feel free to inject your love for newsletters here, as I have clearly made an entire ode to calendars.

Because we are specifically monitoring the web (personally and algorithmically and with agents), the organizations and our own inboxes, we get the first scoop which we then compile and review for our weekly commentary.

Application Deadlines
Announcements
Venue and date changes
Ticket on-sale data
Cancellations and Closures (which should not be often, as many of our events have been going for 50+ years).
